The Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 24/24-17A is a galvanically isolated DC-DC converter and charger. It is designed for use in dual battery systems in vehicles or boats, where the alternator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead and lithium batteries. An unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel to increase the output power.

Thanks to the Orion-Tr Smart 24/24-17A, you can supply any 24V consumer with the appropriate voltage. The correct voltage is also maintained over longer distances, as the Orion can adjust for voltage drops that occur along the wiring. For many sensitive electronic devices, adhering to the exact operating voltage is essential for smooth operation.

Integrated Bluetooth allows for fully programmable monitoring, adjustment of settings, and updating of the charger with new software features using any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or other devices. The Orion-Tr Smart can be programmed via a configurable battery charging algorithm or a fixed output. Additionally, it features intelligent generator compatibility with engine running detection.
