Cyrix Lithium BMS Battery Coupler
The Cyrix Battery Coupler is a high-performance microprocessor-controlled relay that can be used to protect Victron LiFePO4 batteries.
To prevent cell undervoltage, overvoltage, and overheating, all Victron LiFePO4 batteries feature an integrated cell balancing function. This function internally regulates the differences between the cells and informs the external BMS whether to disconnect or connect the charging or discharging process.
The core of this protection mechanism is the VE.Bus BMS or the Small BMS. However, the VE.Bus BMS can only directly instruct VE.Bus devices to interrupt charging or discharging. Other loads or chargers must be controlled externally. This also applies to the Small BMS, which cannot control VE.Bus devices.
To disconnect such loads or chargers, several Cyrix switches that can be controlled by the BMS are available.

System voltage, load capacity, and whether a load or a charge should be controlled.
