As the smallest currently available format for memory cards, the microSDHC/SDXC memory card has been specifically designed for smartphones. The microSDHC memory card consumes very little power, thereby extending the battery life of your smartphone. With its small size of 11 x 15 millimeters, the microSDHC memory card is the smallest physical external storage medium. It can also be used in GPS devices, MP3 players, digital cameras, and PDAs.

The list of compatible devices is growing daily. Verbatim microSDHC memory cards are compatible with all devices that have a microSDHC slot or an SDHC/SDXC slot. However, for the SDHC slot, this is only the case when an SDHC adapter is used, which simulates a standard SDHC card. All microSDHC cards include copyright management technologies for the legal transfer of digital content, whether photos, movies, music, etc., over computer networks for personal use. The Class 10 specification indicates a data transfer speed of at least 10 MB/s.
