The cable has a Mini DisplayPort and an HDTV connector. DisplayPort is signal-compatible with HDMI. Note: A DisplayPort-HDTV cable can only be used in one direction; the Mini DisplayPort connector is only usable on the data source side, such as with graphics cards, MacBooks, ultrabooks, laptops, or PCs.
