The Telestar Dira M 1 A combines cutting-edge radio technology in a compact housing. It enables reception of digital DAB+ and Internet radio stations as well as analogue FM radio stations. The hybrid radio impresses with its solid sound, which can be adjusted to individual listening preferences using an equaliser. The 2.4″ (6.1 cm) TFT colour display shows useful background information in razor-sharp detail. In night mode, the display is deactivated after the desired time so as not to disturb the sleeping environment. Thanks to UPnP, line-in and USB media playback, music files in various formats from different sources can be played via the DIRA M 1 A. An activatable hotel mode secures important settings and prevents operating errors. Network settings, language, maximum volume, date/time, display settings, Bluetooth settings, factory settings, etc. can be protected with a password lock. Useful additional functions such as alarm clock, sleep timer and the display of current weather information complete the range of functions of this compact multifunction radio from Telestar and make it an absolute top product in its price class. The radio is also equipped with innovative EWF and Journaline technology. EWF uses the DAB+ transmission network as the basis for an alarm system that transmits life-saving information to suitable receivers in an emergency. This technology is currently still being tested.
