Product details

Osiris type XUM0 multifunction optical sensor. Miniature sensors measuring 34x12x20mm. This multifunctional technology (Osiconcept) is adjustable via teach-in buttons. It can be used as a through-beam sensor, retro-reflective sensor (with polarization), or light sensor (with background suppression). Precise teach-in to object is possible, with the transmitter and receiver integrated into one device. Light or dark switching is adjustable, and it is programmable for normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) configurations. Switching distances in meters are as follows: as a photoelectric proximity switch: 0.4; as a photoelectric proximity switch with background suppression: 0.15; as a retro-reflective sensor: 3; as a through-beam sensor: 10.
