Very good90/100
- The Tamron 16-30 mm f/2.8 impresses with its reliable autofocus, offers creative freedom thanks to its high light intensity and is also handy and lightweight
- At 16 mm f/2.8 there is a clear vignetting, which is quite typical in this lens class. Sharpness also falls off visibly in the corners
With the 16-30 mm F/2.8, Tamron offers Nikon photographers a lightweight, compact and attractively priced wide-angle alternative to the Nikon Nikkor Z 17-28 mm F/2.8. The Tamron impresses with its excellent autofocus and flexible operation. The good sharpness in the centre of the image visibly diminishes towards the corners.
