- An optical image stabiliser is missing. It is not absolutely necessary for a wide-angle zoom, but would be helpful for vlogging with selfie moderation.
Powerful wide-angle performance for the APS-C format now also benefits the small Canon RF cameras with the Tamron lens. The almost double zoom factor gives photographers and film-makers plenty of creative freedom. The workmanship and performance of the lens are impressive.
