Product details
Spectrum GreenyHT filament features a rough surface. The surface irregularity and matte appearance effectively reduce the visibility of layers and significantly enhance the aesthetic value of printed models. Its high durability in production applications remains popular among users of FDM technology due to its exceptionally easy printability. A problematic characteristic of conventional PLA-based filaments is their relatively low heat resistance, often only reaching 50-60 °C in non-crystallized prints, which significantly limits their functional use. As a result of months of implementation testing, Spectrum Filaments has developed the new Spectrum GreenyHT filament made from a high-performance biopolymer with a softening temperature (VICAT) of up to 100 °C and a heat resistance (HDT B) of up to 90 °C. In addition to improving thermal properties, it was also important not to deviate from the original mechanical properties of the plastic. For this reason, Spectrum GreenyHT contains no plasticizers. Furthermore, it significantly outperforms classic PLA varieties in terms of stiffness and hardness. Despite the modifications used, Spectrum GreenyHT remains fully biodegradable and compostable under industrial conditions according to EN 13432. The biobased content comes from non-genetically modified sources (GMO-free). The material also meets the requirements for food contact. Spectrum GreenyHT is a filament for users who want to print easily but expect increased functionality in terms of heat resistance, high stiffness, and a matte, rough finish.
