Sony LinkBuds Clip

The LinkBuds Clip are top-class open-ear headphones that perform well in almost every discipline. They are very comfortable to wear and can be additionally secured thanks to rubber nubs. The battery life is long and the sound is pleasant and precise – though the bass lacks power. If there is anything to complain about, it mainly concerns the usability.

Tested: 31 Bluetooth headphones, including special models such as the open-ear Soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro. It can also be used as an in-ear model with noise cancellation – we’ll tell you how well that works. Unfortunately, the LinkBuds Clip are not the best open-ear headphones from Sony, but simply "just" good clip-on headphones. In terms of sound and design, the LinkBuds Clip cannot set any new accents and the lack of Bluetooth functions compared to their sibling model leaves a bland aftertaste...

The LinkBuds Clip aims to provide both first-class music enjoyment and awareness of the surroundings. Both are only partially successful. The sound quality is only average, the wearing and operating comfort is mixed.
