Sie ist mit einem Preis ab 90 Euro ein Schnäppchen, zumal man auch bei der dafür gebotenen Leistung durchaus Anerkennung zollen darf. Auf der anderen Seite darf man jedoch keine allzu großen Wunderdinge von dieser 19,9 Megapixel Kamera erwarten...
Sowohl bei der Aufnahme von Fotos als auch bei Videos zeigt sich die Sony DSC-W830 als eine durchschnittlich Wahl. Gleiches gilt zudem für die Displayqualität, der verbaute Blitz ist jedoch schwach. Auch bei der Handhabung erfordert die Kompaktkamera eine Vielzahl an Kompromissen.
Die kleine Kamera ist für Neulinge gut geeignet, das sie neben zahlreichen Automatikfunktionen auch jede enge an Effektfeatures bietet. Leider ist der Sensor recht klein, sodass Bildrauschen bei wenig Licht vorprogrammiert ist. Auch das Display ist eher durchschnittlich und löst mit 230.000 Pixeln auf.
Die Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W830 erweist sich im Test als günstige Automatik-Kamera mit 8fach-Zoom. Angesichts des niedrigen Preises sollten Sie Ihre Erwartungen in Bildqualität und Ausstattung allerdings nicht zu hoch stecken. Für ein paar Fotos im Alltag reicht’s aber.
