Sirui

Compared to a traditional 50mm APS-C lens, the SIRUI 50mm f1.8 camera lens expands your field of view by up to 33%, achieving a perspective equivalent to that of a 37.5mm APS-C lens. The lens, housed in an aluminum body, is robust yet lightweight enough to easily create cinematic widescreen videos.

Dynamic videos in a 2.4:1 format, just like in the cinema. The 50mm f1.8 lens, with its unique optical distortion, produces smooth 4K videos in a 2.4:1 aspect ratio with a 16:9 setting. Without compromising image quality, it has never been easier to create a cinematic film.

For standard lens and post-processing applications, achieving the characteristic horizontal sci-fi brush and backlight effects can be a challenge, but not for the anamorphic SIRUI 50mm 1.33x camera lens! Our lens features a precise optical structure and multi-nano coatings.

Create artistic film effects simply by turning the F1.8 aperture ring to optimize depth of field and the bokeh effect. Innovative optical structure. The lightweight lens combines optical glass lens elements from the German manufacturer Schott in its innovative optical design, characterizing the image and color with effective control over optical distortion and focus shift.

High-quality compact fit. Durable and constructed from an aircraft-grade aluminum alloy and a high-precision CNC process, this portable camera lens weighs only about 560g and is available for a variety of lens mounts.

Key specifications

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
