Product details

An FLD glass and five SLD glass elements are arranged to suppress chromatic aberrations up to the edge of the image. Three aspherical lenses, including a large-diameter aspherical lens as the front element, effectively minimize coma and other distortions, achieving stunning resolution. The super multi-layer coating is combined with a newly developed NPC (Nano Porous Coating). The lens is designed to be less susceptible to strong incoming light, such as backlighting.

The incorporation of a stepping motor enables fast and quiet autofocus operation. Shooting is comfortable even with field autofocus, such as face and eye detection, as well as during video recording. The AFL button, which can be assigned various functions, expands the lens's operational capabilities. Additionally, the lens features a dust and splash-proof construction, along with a water and oil-repellent coating on the front lens, further supporting photography in various environments.

The lens comes with a rear filter holder for attaching filter sheets, equipped with a fall protection locking mechanism.

Product includes the official SSC card with the Sigma lifetime service warranty and services on all SIGMA products. The repair guarantee or warranty is valid for 2 years. The Swiss warranty cannot be guaranteed for marketplace suppliers.
