One Cable Connection (OCC) MOTION-CONNECT is the simple, fast, and secure connection for the SINAMICS S210 servo drive and the SIMOTICS S-1FK2 servo motor. The servo motor and the servo drive are connected with just one cable instead of the usual two or three wires. This one-cable technology with SPEED-CONNECT quick release combines power, encoder connection, and brake control into a single line. This offers several advantages, such as the time-saving installation of only one cable and reduced installation space or space requirements for cable routing. Additionally, it is beneficial that only one cable needs to be cleaned, especially in industries with high hygiene standards. The cable is also available in precise decimeter lengths and features a motor-side M17 or M12 connector (the smallest OCC connector in the world). Easy installation is possible even in tight spaces due to the compact motor with a small, rotatable connector. Extension cables have an IP65 protection rating on both sides.
