The SE215 features a Dynamic MicroDriver that delivers a warm sound with dynamic bass. The Kevlar-reinforced cable is detachable, allowing for easy replacement. It is reinforced with wire over the ear for a comfortable fit and secure hold. The SE215 significantly outperforms standard earbuds that come with MP3 players. The Dynamic MicroDriver provides warm sound with dynamic bass, making it suitable for both in-ear monitoring on stage and for use with an MP3 player.
The sound isolating earbuds were originally designed for musicians to better hear themselves on loud stages. With the included ear tips, they block over 90% of ambient noise. This allows you to fully concentrate on your music, as they protect against loud stage sound during in-ear monitoring as well as distracting outside noise in the subway, on the street, or while exercising. At the same time, you can significantly reduce the volume, protecting your hearing.
The cable is detachable and rotatable at the connector. It is routed and adjusted over the ear, ensuring a comfortable fit and secure hold. Being Kevlar-reinforced, it is particularly durable. The connection between the earbuds and the cable is made via a gold-plated snap-lock mechanism that allows for 360° rotation. Since every ear is different, the fit kit includes various foam and silicone ear tips in different sizes. Experiment with the sizes and shapes until you find the perfect fit. A good fit is essential for effective sound isolation, bass reproduction, and maximum comfort, even during extended wear.
