The Grove barometer module is equipped with an HP206C chip, which gives it an extremely high precision in a wide measuring range: between 300 and 1200 millibars. This pressure gauge is able to determine
the sea level to an accuracy of 10 cm. At the same time, the power consumption is very low at 1100 µA.
The HP206C chip normally needs to be supplied with a voltage between 1.8 and 3.6 V. However, it is possible to add an external circuit that makes the module compatible with higher voltages (3.3 or 5 V).
