Enjoy the optical quality of the Samyang MF 35 mm T1.5 VDSLR MK2 Canon RF during your shoots. With the Canon RF mount, the lens is also compatible with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema 6K camera.

This 35 mm wide-angle lens impresses with its aperture range from T1.5 to T22, its full-frame image circle, and its compact size of 135.5 mm in length and 803 g in weight. This makes the lens suitable for use on drones, gimbals, car mounts, during action shots, handheld, and with its close focusing distance of 30 cm, even in tight situations. It is ideally suited for landscape photography, shots in confined indoor spaces, city and architectural views, as well as for establishing shots.

Switch lenses in no time. Thanks to the identical positioning of the focus and aperture gears in the Samyang MK2 series of video lenses, you practically don’t need to make any adjustments. The focus throw of 146° and the aperture throw of 48° allow for precise adjustments.

Captivate your audience with dreamy images or crystal-clear, sharp views—all with the same lens. The optical design of the Samyang lens enables razor-sharp images without distortion. The UMC multi-layer coating (Ultra Multi Coating) effectively prevents aberrations, reflections, and ghosting. The new iris, with its 9 rounded blades, creates round highlights in the out-of-focus areas of the bokeh and 18-pointed sun stars at smaller apertures.

Key specifications

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
