Due to its low tendency to warp, PLA can be printed without a heated bed. When using a heated bed, the recommended temperature is approximately 35 - 60 °C. PLA can be used with all common 3D desktop printers that utilize FDM or FFF technology. Storage: cool and dry (15–25 °C) and protected from UV light. This significantly increases shelf life. RS Pro 3D printer filament PLA 1.75 mm 2.3 kg. Durable, easy-to-use high-quality PLA filament, ideal for 3D printing. The slightly modified filament retains the typical properties of PLA but is tougher and less brittle. Due to its low shrinkage factor, PLA does not deform after cooling. Polylactic acid is a biodegradable plastic made from renewable natural resources and is one of the most popular materials for 3D printing. Harder and less brittle compared to conventional PLA. Easy to print at low temperatures, low warping, biodegradable, and low odor. After purchasing your filament, it is important to store it properly to maintain quality. Over time, the plastic absorbs moisture from the air, leading to small water bubbles in the filament. These bubbles quickly reach boiling point when heated in the extruder nozzle, damaging the print. The use of desiccants to absorb moisture is highly recommended.
