It is constructed with a layer of a specially surface-treated 5-mil film that is laminated onto a 3-mil poly-spun fiber. The Diplomat Skyntone is ideal for light concert snare and jazz drumset snare, tom, and bass drum applications. With its controlled high frequencies and dynamic sensitivity, the Diplomat Skyntone is the closest synthetic drumhead ever made compared to traditional calfskin.
