The Diplomat Skyntone offers a warm tone and a soft touch with a calfskin-like appearance. It is constructed with a layer of a specially treated 5-mil film laminated to a 3-mil poly-spun fiber. The Diplomat Skyntone is ideal for light concert snare and jazz drum set snare, tom, and bass drum applications. With its controlled high frequencies and dynamic sensitivity, the Diplomat Skyntone is the closest synthetic drumhead ever made compared to traditional calfskin.
