RØDE Lavalier GO
Product details
A professional clip-on microphone with broadcast-quality sound, perfectly tailored for the Wireless GO compact wireless system. It is an ideal accessory for situations where the Wireless GO transmitter module would be too prominent in the frame. In this case, you connect the Lavalier GO White to the microphone input of the Wireless GO module and simply use it as a pocket or belt transmitter. In its white version, the Lavalier GO is perfect for light-colored clothing, such as at weddings. Of course, the Lavalier GO White can also be used with many other devices that have a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input and provide the necessary power (approximately 3 volts). Typical examples include laptops, DSLR cameras, and portable recorders. To achieve optimal recording results, the Lavalier GO should be attached to clothing at the lapel, collar, or chest height using its crocodile clip. It often makes sense to point the capsule downwards, which can reduce unwanted breathing sounds and "sibilant" hissing. Since the Lavalier GO has an omnidirectional capsule that is equally sensitive in all directions, there is hardly any difference in sound quality whether the capsule is facing up or down. The special connection cable is Kevlar-reinforced and, at 1.20 m, is sufficiently long. The TRS mini-jack plug has gold-plated contacts. You can also use the Lavalier GO with a smartphone by purchasing the optional RØDE adapter "SC4," which adapts the three-pole TRS plug of the Lavalier GO to the four-pole headset jack of the smartphone. The Lavalier GO White comes with a foam windscreen, crocodile clip, and a small transport pouch.
