    Very good value for money.

Very good value for money, the device is a bit bigger than its predecessor (sansa clip+), but it is still very practical for walking and doing sports (the clip does its job well).

I would however strongly recommend updating
the firmware of the device regularly, the version I received crashed a few times before I went to the manufacturer's website to update it (it's actually easy to do once the file is downloaded).

One fault would be that the volume (used with a V-MODA M-100) is loud for me, even on the minimum possible. Another concern is that it is not possible to listen to the music in the internal memory and the music on the Micro SD card at the same time, for this point, I greatly preferred my previous model: the SANSA clip+ .

In short, if you are looking for a small mp3 player with a clip with a good quality-price ratio for sports or walking, I highly recommend it.

    Simple MP3 player

I bought the MP3 player for my grandfather so that he could store music on it and play it as easily as possible.
It serves its purpose because it is easy to use and the quality is good for the price.

    Very good price/performance ratio

The reports I found on the internet were partly contradictory. In the end, I decided to buy this model because the price/performance ratio seemed good.

+ Scope of delivery: MP3 player, 24cm data & charging cable and in-ear
    headphones.
It should be mentioned that the headphones have soft silicone heads and are supplied in a total of 3 different sizes so that they fit (almost) all ears. The sound quality is certainly not outstanding but more than sufficient as a replacement or second pair of headphones for on the go.
+ Sound quality: Is actually slightly worse compared to my two smartphones and laptops, but on balance still acceptable. Tested with both the included headphones and my Sennheisers.
+ Memory: In addition to the already generous 8 GB, the device swallowed a 32 GB micro SD card (Transcend, class 4) without any problems.
+ Display: has a backlight and can be adjusted in brightness/contrast. Resolution is very pixelated, but that is negligible.

    - I miss a slide/switch with which the device can be completely locked. The existing lock function is not really satisfactory.
    - The position of the headphone jack on the side is inconvenient and can interfere with operation depending on the headphones used.
    - I don't quite understand why the slots for the USB cable and the micro SD card don't have covers, especially since the device is labelled "Sport", which I understand to include outdoor activities.
    - The buttons feel spongy/wobbly.

All in all, the negative points mentioned are negligible and the price/performance ratio is very good. For everyday use without special requests, I can only advise: get it! :)

Finally, a tip: set the region to "North America", then the volume is not limited. ;)

    • Accepts 32GB memory cards
