    A bit disappointing

    While hooking up the controller, I kept getting a bad hum on one of the inputs. Even though I used a balanced XLR cable, I found out that the internal circuits are unbalanced, effectively making my balanced XLR unbalanced. Another drawback is that the input signal is 3dB quieter, because half of the signal on the 2nd balanced wire in not hooked up.
