Now I know how rice tastes!
The colleague is not quite cheap, but worth every centime! The rice tastes worlds different and in my opinion also better. We used a lot of the GABA rice function and that is really top!

My lamb stew was already butter tender in 30 min and the rice cooked perfectly in the Japanese way!

THIS is the Rolls Royce of rice cookers!
Actually, calling it a rice cooker is an understatement. It's a pressure cooker for all kinds of rice, soups, and other types of food, and because of the pressure cooking process, it keeps most of the vitamins intact and the rice tastes much better.
It talks you through the process, tells you when the rice is done etc, but talks quite a bit ;-)
It can start the process by itself at a certain time and then automatically keeps the rice warm. It also has a self-cleaning process and you can turn off the talking.
