Could you charge the battery with a 48v battery charger in days the sun is not shining? Charging with cheap electricity rate and discharge at high rate would make the return of investment faster...

Good question, which I have also asked myself. Charge at night with cheap electricity and discharge again during the day if necessary. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to connect the battery yet as I've been waiting for a T-plug since August due to delivery problems. So the solar system is currently running without a battery.

Is it correct that the AIO 2400 cannot supply power in the event of a power failure? Or is there a hack that allows you to use the power from the battery?

Yes, the AIO 2400 cannot supply 230V independently. It needs an inverter. "Normal" micro inverters are designed to feed electricity into a stable grid. If the inverter detects a power failure/drop, irregular frequencies, it disconnects from the 230V grid.
