Zendure AIO 2400
Is it correct that the AIO 2400 cannot supply power in the event of a power failure? Or is there a hack that allows you to use the power from the battery?
Yes, the AIO 2400 cannot supply 230V independently. It needs an inverter. "Normal" micro inverters are designed to feed electricity into a stable grid. If the inverter detects a power failure/drop, irregular frequencies, it disconnects from the 230V grid.
Basically, you are not allowed to give out any electricity when the grid is down. You need a circuit that disconnects your house from the grid while the grid is down and you want to have electricity in the hut. Imagine the grid is down, an electrician has to carry out repairs and you feed your electricity into the grid.
Only works if the battery/solar bank has its own socket, which the AIO2400 unfortunately does not. The Solmate from EET has this, for example.
There will almost certainly never be a software hack for this, it's a question of mains safety. Only if you install a mains isolator switch that disconnects your house from the power grid can/may you operate an inverter that supplies power to your house both in stand-alone mode (disconnected from the grid) and in grid-connected mode. This sometimes makes sense with large inverters, but not with plug & play systems.
This is possible with a so-called hybrid inverter. However, I don't know of any that work at 60V DC, which the AIO 2400 outputs.
