Hello Reiomar, Yes, I bought the Xiaomi Mi 5 for the reason that I can use a Swiss SIM card + one from the USA in the phone. Works for me without any problems. Greetings
Unfortunately, none of our suppliers are able to provide this product at the moment (13.12.16)
Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find almost any retailers in Switzerland who already have the 256Gb version (or the Pad 5 Pro) in their range 😅 As soon as availability improves in the Swiss market, we will of course include the different versions in our range 👍
Checked items are not displayed in any of our branches and so unfortunately such items cannot be inspected in advance, sorry.

what a short Google search doesn't answer... ;) http://www.handystrahlung.ch/sar.php?Marke=Xiaomi
At the moment, we are still trying to find the Xiaomi Mi 5s, but it may be a while before we are able to unlock it.
In the settings, you set separate preferred SIMs for voice and Internet and you can always change them again. When you start an app, it will use this SIM. It is possible that in the case of a service (e.g. email with push) where a network server has saved the previous connection, that the other SIM can still be used. In general, I am amazed at how well this Dual SIM works. You can also run two instances of the same app, e.g. two Whatsapp apps. I haven't managed to sync each with Google Drive though. But that's before a Whatsapp ban, not because of the phone.
Google Play Store was pre-installed on my phone, along with some of Xiaomi's own apps (calendar, mail, cloud service, etc).
No, Carplay is from Apple and only works with iPhone. All other smartphones with Android 5.0 or higher, like the Mi5, support Android Auto.
Hello Theodorewi I use my Mi5 with a Swisscom subscription in Switzerland and it works "only" with 4G (which is enough ;) Unfortunately I can't tell you how it is in the States. Hope I could help you :)
Yes, Xiaomi is also a Chinese manufacturer. I am not aware of any problems with push messages with this model.
No, no micro sd on it It's stupid but that's how it is :/
No, these are German flashed - or English... but they are not Chinese....
Well then, import the device privately, pay the import fees of 19.- + VAT 50.- + shipping and packaging 25.- - guarantee - self-protection, then you are guaranteed a better offer in the end.

Do you also ask the question at Migros or Coop about toilet paper? Sorry, but you can search for any item at Toppreise and then compare the first place with the last place and you will almost always find such scissors. Do you always ask there? Be happy and get it there. Then you've saved 100...
