Very important before you buy it (I am also very interested), the device does not support LTE Band 20, which is very common in Switzerland for 4G. Can anyone tell me what the impact will be?
Need the Xiaomi Mi5 (direct import from TradingShenzen) in the Kt. Schaffhausen and Zürcher Weinland in the Swisscom network (Infinity M 2.0). Unfortunately, in both places mainly in band 20, 800 MHz ... thus with 3G. I miss the former band 20/4G ... with a clear difference for me for my applications. The MI5 itself I think is good. If I were to change the subscription to Infinity S, it goes up again.
I used to have a Xiaomi mi3 (only supports H+, no 4G) and used a Swisscom Infinity M subscription. Download speeds of 2.5 MegaBYTE per second were possible, which was enough for my taste.
According to the homepage, sunrise is increasingly using band 3, 1800 MHz. However, I cannot say anything about this from practical experience
I called Sunrise in March and they said band 20 is not very common at Sunrise. It may be different with other providers. But now that it's taken forever for it to become available and the price is also moderately great, you might as well just buy a Samsung or something and have band 20. If the cheap version is already almost 500, the Pro will probably be at S7 level, at least.
