It says below the description:
"Important information
Rom Info:
The device runs the Global ROM - The product is intended for the global market. Language support in DE/FR/IT/EN is provided."
According to my information, the built-in "Adreno 506" supports the "OpenGL ES 3.1" specification, which is actually also downward compatible with 3.0.
Unless I am mistaken, Xiaomi phones are sold with the Bootloader locked. You have to make a request to Xiaomi to unlock it. In any case the phone is sold with an official global rom and not a translated custom rom. So I think it's all good. In any case this phone is really excellent, I recommend.
The display is resistant to scratches, although Xiaomi does not use brand names such as Gorilla Glass. No scratches can be made on the display with a screwdriver and normal pressure.

Android version 8.1.0 OPM1.171019.011 is installed on the device.
USB adapter to the notebook works; the supplied charging cable can be used for this purpose.
OTG adapter for connecting a USB hub or a DAC/headphone is still to be tested; I do not have either.
da gibt es im Internet viele Lösungen:

Yes, it has. However, it is less secure than Apple's and would probably be crackable with a good photo. But it works very quickly and reliably. Since Face Unlock is only for India and not Europe, you have to change the region to India under Settings>Additional Settings>Region.
Advantages: Face Unlock is activated
Disadvantages: 1. the time is not correct for a short time, but it automatically changes back to Swiss time after a short time. 2. 3 apps made for India are installed, 2 of them you can uninstall right away, the third one is the Xiaomi App Store, which you can't delete (but don't worry, it's only 17 MB).
Have fun with Face Unlock :-)
There should actually be one. At the moment it is on MIUI 9.5 (Android 8.1). The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is in the beta programme for MIUI 10 (Android 9) and should therefore also get the definitive version... But I wouldn't be too sure :-) After all, it is a phone from the cheap line (Redmi) of Xiaomi.
But honestly, who needs Android 9? After all, the Redmi Note 5, as a (more or less) full-screen phone, already has gesture control and no more home/back/menu buttons. And other "innovations" of Android 9 are already on board with MIUI 9.5... And I find the current gesture control of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 much better than that of Android 9 anyway ;-)
