Hello Tobi. The cable from the Hall sensor will be loose, which happens from time to time with these models. Check the plug or cable or, in the worst case, replace the engine. This is usually a warranty case.
The anti-theft device is de facto unusable, as the mobile phone must remain connected via Bluetooth. As long as the mobile phone is connected to the scooter, the motor brake locks the front wheel and the rear light flashes. That's all there is to it. I just leave the scooter there. So far it hasn't been stolen.
Included is a box with two spare tubes and tyres. Note: The front wheel and the rear wheel have different valves.
If you no longer have them, AliExpress has all the spare parts for the Xiaomi M365.
On Youtube you can find many instruction videos on how to change the tyres.
I can only advise you against using solid rubber. And you can order all spare parts from China. There is a great community for the M365 scooter on "rollerplausch".
Too fast, in Switzerland you are ONLY allowed to ride at 20 km/h (without pedal assistance, with pedal assistance you are allowed up to 25 km/h). It's a pity that you can't simply throttle it (in config...).
Officially only till 20 km. i must say with mine i don't get to 25km i think. i would need to be lighter ;-)
it doesn't have a tacho but tried it with a friend and i made 22km...i think this 2km tolerance is not a problem.

Yes, that is the case, they were probably limited to 20km/h with a new firmware. I'm currently trying to find out from ASTRA and the KAPO whether it would be legal to buy one of these and independently throttle it down to 20km/h. I don't need a type approval for e-scooters. Type approval is not required for e-scooters.
Because it exceeds the 20km/h... Unfortunately, only scooters up to 20km/h with no more than 500W are allowed on the road. I was stopped by the police the other day. They don't have a clue, even if the bike would run 40km/h.

I opted for a disc lock that can be easily attached to the brake. My lock also has a movement alarm. I bought my lock for a few francs from the big orange Chinese shop.
It is equipped with two brakes. The front wheel is braked electronically with energy recovery. When the brake lever is pressed, the front wheel also brakes.

I phoned the technical department and they said that it was no problem if the scooter was throttled to 20 km/h by firmware. For the approval of so-called electric scooters, the provisions of the Ordinance on Technical Requirements for Road Vehicles (VTS; SR 741.41) apply. E-scooters can be put into circulation as light motorbikes in accordance with article 18 letter b VTS if all relevant regulations are fulfilled and traffic and operational safety is guaranteed. The detailed technical vehicle regulations for light motorbikes in accordance with Article 18 letter b VTS are contained in Articles 175 to 178b and 180 VTS.
The information sheet in the appendix contains an overview of the most important regulations of road traffic law applicable to motorbikes and light motorbikes and the links to the respective ordinance texts.
In particular, we draw your attention to the following provisions:
- The maximum speed may not exceed 20 km/h with purely electric drive. With pedal assistance, 25 km/h is permissible. Please note that any limitation (e.g. via firmware) must be permanent and tamper-proof (Art. 177 Para. 2 VTS).
- According to Annex 1 paragraph 1.2 of the Type Approval Ordinance (TGV), light motorbikes are also generally exempt from the type approval requirement.
- Article 72 paragraph 1 letter k of the Traffic Licensing Ordinance (VZV) stipulates that light motorbikes also do not require a vehicle registration document or a licence plate.
Like bicycles, light motorbikes may be placed on the market and put into circulation without a type approval (i.e. without type approval and without registration with the Road Traffic Office). However, they must of course still comply with all the regulations that apply to them. The responsibility for ensuring that these vehicles are delivered or used in accordance with the regulations lies with the manufacturer/importer or ultimately with the person who uses them on public property. According to article 1 paragraph 7 VTS, the provisions of the Federal Product Safety Act also apply.

1) Locking via app: if the scooter is locked via app, is the wheel actively braked or is the electric motor only not activated when driving off? any beeping sounds as a warning?
2) is there an eyelet where a cable lock or similar can be attached? as I see it, almost the only possibility is a cable lock through the rear wheel, but this raises the question of how easy it would be to dismantle the wheel in case someone wants to take the part along on the spur of the moment...

I was at the city police station in winterthur yesterday regarding the xiaomi.
if the scooter is limited to 20km/h in the fastest driving mode, you can legally drive it around and it complies with the regulations! don't forget the light reflectors and the bell!
at an inspection, as with mopeds, it will be checked on the scooter and it must not run more than 20km/h.
the city police of winterthur and zurich have a leaflet (trend vehicles) for download which is authoritative!
so if you limit the scooter to 20km/h, there is nothing to stop you from enjoying the ride...
i don't know how the warranty works if you flash the scooter with a different firmware, only digitec knows that!
