I operate my MDK11 on a smart socket from Philips Hue. It works perfectly. When I "give power", the dryer simply continues where it was. All settings are retained. The same after a power cut.
Yes, slightly. But all in all, the air is drier and although the dryer adds 1 or 2 degrees, it's more comfortable. What I particularly like is that it doesn't need any maintenance (e.g. constant filter cleaning)

It is important that the room is as small and warm as possible, as warm air can absorb more moisture, and that the appliance's water tank is emptied before drying. A powerful dehumidifier with a dehumidification capacity of 10 litres/24h is well suited to reducing the humidity in a room up to around 40 m² and thus speeding up the drying process.
In addition, a fan can help to dry the laundry even faster by improving air circulation. Please note, however, that a dehumidifier does not completely replace a tumble dryer, but can significantly reduce the drying time.

thank you for your valued question. There was a slightly increased failure rate of the displays in the August 2024 delivery. Just under 3% of the devices in the 08.2024 design (has already been revised) were affected. 3% is a very low failure rate and is well below the industry average. The MDK11 has been available in the new design since 15/09/2024 and impresses with its quality and efficiency. So if you buy a new MDK11 or have it replaced, you will already receive the latest version.

Hello, I bought the MDK11 today, after it had been standing for 6 hours I plugged it in. pressed power and selected 40%. but nothing happens, it does something, but the device doesn't get more than warm. Nothing is ventilated, flap open. After 30 minutes it says defrost. The display at the top says 58. if this is supposed to be the humidity, then it's not right. another display shows 72%. something is turning very slowly inside, but it really doesn't sound good. What's wrong with the appliance?
Hello Philip, correct, the air flowing out of the dehumidifier has approx. 1°C more temperature than the room air drawn in. It is physically impossible to remove the moisture from the room air without producing some heat. In the vast majority of cases, however, this is not noticeable because the heating is so small. The 200 watts are divided into heat AND cold. Therefore, only a very small difference remains as heat.
