Hello, the Wood`s MDK11 works up to 5°C. Below this temperature, the device switches off. If the temperature rises above 5°C, the appliance switches on again automatically. The question is whether dehumidification is required below 5°C? If so, the Wood`s WDD80 is recommended. This is a condensation dehumidifier based on adsorption and requires many times more power than the MDK11, but works up to 1°C. Below 1°C it is no longer possible to dehumidify with a condensation dehumidifier because the condensate would freeze. This would require professional adsorption dehumidifiers, which remove the room humidity from the object via the air and do not condense it first. One example would be the Qubiq MDC250 or similar (found on qubiq-airtech.ch). However, these devices cost around CHF 4500.00 and more.
