Verbatim USB Type-C to
HDMI, 5.50 cm

The «USB Type-C to (HDMI, 5.50 cm)» adapter from Verbatim is designed to convert a USB-C output from a device to an HDMI output. This means it is an HDMI Out adapter, allowing you to connect a USB-C equipped laptop or device to an HDMI-equipped display, monitor, or projector. It is not designed to use a laptop as a monitor, but rather to use the laptop's USB-C port to output video and audio to an external HDMI display. Therefore, it does not support using a laptop as an input device or monitor.

The Verbatim USB-C to HDMI 4K Adapter (Product ID: 49143) is a unidirectional cable. It is used to connect USB-C or Thunderbolt 3-capable devices to HDMI-capable devices such as monitors or projectors, but it does not enable a reverse connection.

Have you tried switching the sound output from the Macbook to the TV?
Yes, without any problems. But only if your mobile or tablet supports it. On my Samsung Galaxy devices, for example, this has worked perfectly for years.
woaw, embarrassing! It's sorted itself out. I just had to "mangle" the cable a bit, as the device is still brand new :)
JA
Yes, I bought it for my beamer so that I could watch pictures and video from my mobile phone on the beamer. And it works very well. I recommend you to buy it.
No, that does not work. The Switch can only be used on the TV via the original Switch Dock.
So that your question can possibly be answered, we have forwarded it directly to the community. This is because we unfortunately do not have an effective user experience with the product.
I am sure it is not supporting HDR. I contacted the support and asked. They confirmed HDR is not supported.
I use it with a Mac Book Pro and it works perfectly. So it should also be compatible with a Mac Book Air.
Not sure. This is full-size HDMI, and works fairly well for me so far. You could pair it with a HDMI-HDMI mini cable.
Yes, check the homepage: https://www.verbatim.de/de/prod/verbatim-usb-c-to-hdmi-4k-adapter-49143/
Yes, it works without any problems. I use it to operate a 4k monitor at 60 Hz (you probably meant hertz and not fps, i.e. frames per second).
Good day I just tried it briefly on the BenQ GW2780 (also bought via digitec) --> Audio is played back as soon as I click on the corresponding playback via the speaker symbol at the bottom right. I can also switch between tablet and monitor sound output without any problems. Use a normal HDMI cable supplied with the monitor. I hope I was able to help you. Greetings
