Question about Verbatim USB Type-C to
Doesn't output sound from my Surface Pro 7 on my 4K monitor with built-in speakers.... does anyone have similar problems with this?

I just tried it briefly on the BenQ GW2780 (also bought via digitec) --> Audio is played back as soon as I click on the corresponding playback via the speaker symbol at the bottom right. I can also switch between tablet and monitor sound output without any problems. Use a normal HDMI cable supplied with the monitor.

My monitor is recognised as an audio playback device, can also be selected, but no sound comes from the monitor... Volume on laptop and monitor at highest level...
