Hello Eickeluca, have you already tested the audio output on the beamer elsewhere? I think the fault is with the projector or, less likely, with the cable. But since this is new... Have you plugged in the jack on the beamer correctly? Sometimes you have to push it in really hard. You think it's all right, but there's still a bit left.
The cable is 5m long and cannot be pulled further apart. The two parts of the cable can be separated at the groove so that the two RCA plugs do not have to be close to each other. This shortens the distance that the cable can then bridge to the common other jack plug.
You can already disconnect it. Connecting the speakers less so. What exactly do you have in mind? Wouldn't you rather buy speaker cables? If you intend to connect normal speakers to a stereo connection, this is not possible. You must always distinguish between active and passive speakers.
The connections on the cable are exactly as shown.
