USB connector: 5cm, cable itself: 41.5cm, SATA connector: 4.5cm. So a total of 51cm.
Not on the console, but I am almost certain that this would be too slow. I noticed that this adapter is not designed for high data rates. Per USB 3 with approx. 10MB/s, that's all I achieved. Because of the integrated USB power supply, it probably only runs on USB 2. The adapters with a separate power supply are better.

No. That didn't work for me either. An SSD worked without any problems. I could only operate the HDD with a hard disk dock. Something like this: ICY BOX IB-123CL-U3
i'm sorry i'm not sure what the question is. Yes it has USB 3.0. You can use this to connect a SSD (2.5" form factor) to a usb.
So... a data migration on the part of MacOS is generally always possible!
Much more important is what you connect... since you only have a USB 3 port, SSDs are usually uncomplicated since they don't need any additional power...
If you have older hard drives, use an adapter with an external power supply.
This will not be able to supply enough power for a 3.5" HDD. This is only for 2.5" HDD's. I recommend the following product: FANTEC USB to SATA adapter
