No, the unit can remain connected. The battery symbol simply says Full.
Hilft dir die Bedienungsanleitung weiter? https://www.sony.ch/de/electronics/support/audio-video-radios/xdr-v1btd/manuals
Yes, the display is always visible.
The charging cable is permanently connected to the 5.8V power supply unit. Sony AC-E5820 adapter. DC plug has an outer diameter of 4mm. Something like this can probably be found.
I connected a set of Logitech PC speakers via the headphone output, works perfectly! Use this combo in the office, when most people are in the home office you can also give "Gutzi" ;-) Sound quality depends on the speakers used, but as I said, it works.
Hello You have landed here at the community. This sounds like a problem for the customer service. Contact form: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new?ticket_form_id=39231 Phone: +41445759500 Email: digitec@digitec.ch Greetings
Yes, you can simply not switch on Bluetooth, then this function is also not active. To connect with Bluetooth, you first have to switch it on actively or switch it off again. So the device is not always Bluetooth active.
Unfortunately no, only one alarm time is programmable.
Hello Stefan, on top of the radio are all the operating functions. There is also a button for the lighting. There are three brightness levels and OFF. So you can adjust the lighting as you like or switch it off. We are very satisfied with the radio. Good sound, lots of battery power when we take the radio into the garden and makes a good trap in the kitchen on the shelf next to the sugar bowls ;-) . Switching the DAB stations should be a bit faster via the rotary wheel. But since we use the 5 memory locations and can also call them up at the touch of a button, that suits us. Greetings
Unfortunately, we do not have any information about this.
The display has 3 brightness levels and can also be set to completely dark (without any illumination). This makes it well suited for the bedside table. In battery mode, the brightness levels are reduced. It's a great device. - Buy it ;-)
Hello I don't have the problem with all 7 devices. However, all devices are in the city of Zurich and have good reception.
This is possible in principle. However, finding the right battery will probably be more difficult than removing it (depending on what was installed). I recommend that you contact Sony directly to see if it is possible to have the battery replaced professionally.
Hello Marianne On mono: see also https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monophonie_(electroacoustics). The unit has stereo speakers, the sound is "fuller" and gives a very good surround sound (for such a small cube). About the battery: it lasts quite long, I've never measured it exactly, but it lasts at least 15 hours (if not more). That was the main criterion for buying this unit (no constant cable connection or battery operation).
