Can you lay with those earphones in bed with your head on the side without too much pressure and pain? Most of those earphones are not really good to lay on the side...

I had been using the headphones for just over a year and then started having problems with charging and battery life. When the headphones were fully charged, after 1 minute of use the left headphone would switch off and the right headphone after 15 minutes.... I sent it for repair under warranty and got a credit note for it in the end. I was basically very happy with the headphones and would buy them again now. But I am afraid that the same thing will happen again. Has anyone bought the headphones that year and had a similar experience with the battery problem? Thank you for your feedback.

Does anyone here also have the metallic noise during podcasts, for example? I noticed it there for the first time. And when the upper and lower jaws clatter against each other (you don't have to exaggerate:-D) the noise is also there. An indictment of Sony, for this price. You can do the following: 1. 🔧 Reset and re-pair the headset - Sony recommends the following for sound problems: "Reset + Re-pair" - Press and hold both earbuds for 10 seconds → Delete pairing. - Then pair again with the smartphone. 2. 🎚️ Deactivate "Speak-to-Chat" and adaptive noise control - Open the Sony Headphones Connect app - Deactivate: "Speak-to-Chat" "Adaptive noise control" "Optimisation on movement" 3. 🌀 Activate wind noise reduction - In the app: → "Sound" > "Wind noise reduction" → ON This switches off the external microphones in a more targeted manner. 4. 📶 Set the Bluetooth codec to "Priority on Connection Quality" - In the app under "Bluetooth connection" → Prioritise connection quality - Not: "Prioritise on sound quality" - this leads to instability during phone calls. 5. 📲 Try with only one earbud - Use only one (e.g. on the right) - Sony then prioritises a single microphone with "Beamforming". 6. 🔄 Update the firmware - The latest version (e.g. 2.0.2 or higher, version 2024/2025) improves microphone logic during phone calls. - Check in the Sony Headphones app under "System" > "Firmware".

The Sony WF-1000XM4 have or had a common problem with the battery and the charging station. There is a very big thread on Reddit about this, everyone should check it out. In other countries, Sony apparently even replaces the headphones when the warranty has expired because the problem was caused by a faulty firmware update. I got the headphones as a gift at the end of 2021 and unfortunately the purchase receipt is not available and Sony support in Switzerland is not responding. Has anyone had more luck and is it worthwhile putting pressure on Sony here as a community? I was otherwise very happy with the headphones but now they are unusable (the right headphone lasts just under 30 minutes and the case overheats when charging or no longer charges properly). I have a question regarding the headset, I have used it for 345 hours in total and now the left headset, a full charge lasts me 50 minutes and the right one still shows me 79% charge, is this normal? My warranty expires in 4 months

Do you also have problems with the left headphone that it only charges up to 80% and then after about 20-25 minutes it is empty again I am getting very annoyed and am a little disappointed.

Hello Together There was an announcement last year for Multipoint via firmware update. Did anyone ever get that? In Switzerland I always see 1.4.2 as the latest version, in Asia they seem to be already at 1.6.1 (https://www.sony-asia.com/electronics/support/wireless-headphones-bluetooth-headphones/wf-1000xm4/software/00263487).
