A somewhat difficult question to answer, because who has exactly the two devices at home? (Is the SA-PMX94 possibly the SC-PMX94?). The record player can be connected to an audio device; the preamplifier is integrated in the record player. With the units switched off, connect the supplied phono cable (cinch) to the "AUX" sockets of the audio device and the turntable. (white = left channel, red = right channel) and set the "Line/Phono" switch of the record player to "Line". (Attention: DO NOT use the USB socket to connect to the audio device). This is how it works for me; I can really recommend the record player.

If the speakers are so-called active speakers (with their own power supply and cinch input > red/white audio cable), you do not need a separate amplifier. I use this record player with "TEUFEL Stereo M" speakers.

Unfortunately we don't have it anymore, but usually the audio-technica AT91 is recommended, it would be easier to search in a specialised shop. Otherwise we have this one: Audio-Technica AT-VM95C (Conique, 4mV) but the product department is not 100% sure if it is compatible.

There is no such thing as an aux cable. However, there are aux inputs on amplifiers (aux for auxiliary --> designation of the source). The design of such an input on stereo amplifiers is usually "Cinch" (or RCA in English). AV receivers usually also have such inputs. The record player has a cinch output. This means that the record player can be connected to a common stereo amplifier using this cable, for example: Lindy Stereo Cinch (1m, Entry, Cinch) The turntable also has a USB output (type B). This means that the turntable can be connected directly to a laptop/PC via USB. You would just have to say what the record player should be connected to so that the question can be answered completely.

If the home cinema system has an aux input (cinch sockets), it works. The record player has a built-in preamplifier, which is why you can probably connect it to all common devices with an aux input. There does not have to be an MM/MC input.

Hello unicycle boss To integrate with Teufel's system, I would recommend Teufel's turntable, as it can do Bluetooth - unlike the Sony. However, the PS-HX500 can output line level (normally turntables only output very small signals, which would mean that without an amplifier everything would be very quiet), which is why it would probably work on a speaker with an RCA to jack cable, but I connected it to a Denon amplifier via RCA on the corresponding input. The quality is very good, the part is also super processed - but attracts a bit of dust, as a matt surface...

Khaleesi! 😊 No, unfortunately that doesn't work. The speaker outputs must be connected to a receiver. https://www.sony.ch/de/electronics/audio-komponenten/ps-hx500 Operating instructions page 14: https://www.sony.de/electronics/support/res/manuals/4585/45858343M.pdf "Listening to a vinyl record Your record player does not have a built-in speakers. To listen to a vinyl record, you must connect an audio device such as a stereo system or an amplifier to the record player with the supplied PHONO cables supplied and play the play the record. (See page 14.)"

Hello, This turntable has a built-in amplifier, so all you need is a cinch to jack cable to connect it to a sound system. I connect it to a Naim Mu So system and everything works fine!

Disconnect the supplied USB cable and restart your computer. Make sure the computer is running, then connect the computer and the turntable with the USB cable. For detailed connection instructions, see "Connecting your computer and turntable". Make sure that the USB device driver software is successfully installed. (For Windows) If you are connecting your computer to the turntable for the first time using the USB cable, or using a different USB port to the one previously used, the USB device driver software may need to be reinstalled. Connect the turntable to the computer and switch it on, then click [Control Panel] - [Hardware and Sound] - [Device Manager] (when "Control Panel" is displayed in the "Category" view). If "PS-HX500" is displayed under [Audio, Video and Game Controllers] in the window, the USB device driver software has been successfully installed. Follow the steps below to ensure that the turntable name is displayed in "System Information". (For Mac) Connect the turntable to the computer and turn it on. Click [About this Mac] on the Apple menu. Click [Overview] - [System Report]. Click [USB] under [Hardware] and make sure that "PS-HX500" is displayed. Note If the latest Windows updates are not applied, the application may not be installed successfully. Start Windows Update and install the latest updates. I found this in a guide. Maybe this will help you. Have you changed the USB port? Also, isn't your PC's power management somehow in eco mode? Greetings
