Yes, this lens can also be used with the Alpha 6400 without any problems. I have used it on the 6600. It is also suitable for the Alpha 7/9. You can also save weight and money and buy the APS-C SEL 70-350 lens. Sony E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS

No, this is not possible or not available for this lens. It only works with the 70-200mm f2.8 GM and the 100-400mm f2.8 GM.

So it does fit. However, the a6000 is an APS-C format camera. This means that due to the crop factor of 1.5, the effective focal length is not 70-300 mm but 105 - 450 mm. So there is a bit more tele with this body.
