Is there also a universally suitable tripod clamp ?
A tripod clamp is not necessary because of the size and weight of this zoom lens. With the image stabiliser, I usually manage to take sharp photos even when I am holding my left hand under the lens and holding my breath or leaning my body against a tree etc. before taking the photo (of course, you always have to keep an eye on the exposure time).
There is a universal tripod clamp from Novoflex (I think it is this one: https://www.novoflex.de/de...).
However, I was not particularly convinced by it. Unless you have extremely small hands, the clamp gets in the way when operating the camera....
I am not aware of this. But the lens as such delivers impeccable results.
Thanks, just wasn't sure about the weight as I own a Sony Alpha 6400. :)
