Is the lens too heavy on an alpha 7c?

The weight of the lens is approx. 854 g.
Weight (including battery and memory card) is approx. 509 g.
The body is approx. 424 g
The lens is fully compatible with the ILCE-7C.

The lens is the same weight on every camera. It also works well on the 7C. I have used it myself. If you want a lighter lens, I can recommend the very good and much cheaper and lighter Tamron 70-300 for E-mount.
