Hello Yes, the unit has a standard coax connection. This can be seen in the operating instructions which can be downloaded from the product under Downloads. It works without any problems. Greetings Mauri

Hello all ! I have the device new. Sound is tiptop. However, I have a problem with the DAB. I could not connect the "normal" antenna cable to the rear antenna connection. It did not fit. I ordered an adapter with a female thread so that the antenna cable would fit. When selecting the DAB mode, it searches briefly and then reports "No Service". When I connect another DAB device, I have signal. Do I need a different/special adapter ? DAB is a MUST for me. What could be the problem ? Thanks for feedback.

Yes that is so, a service must be streamed such as Spotify, MP3 from a smartphone or from a radio app etc....

Is it possible to limit the playback timer of the CMT-SX7B, e.g. Monday to Friday? Or does it then wake me up at 6 o'clock on Sunday morning? :-)

Are the two boxes connected to the device with a cable? Or wireless? Where do I see that in the specs?

I don't think you can see or find it anywhere... and the boxes are each connected with a cable.

"Multiroom" with radio (FM and DAB+) does not work! With whom does it work? FYI: It works with "My Music" on the SongPal group (SONY CMT-SX7B and Speaker X88). Huge frustration!

Ditto. I have the CMT-SX7B and 4 Sony SRS-ZR5 distributed around the flat. Can't get the radio, CD and optical in to work on the additional speakers either:-( Only streaming via mobile can control all speakers at the same time.

The specifications do not list the connection required for this (coaxial), so no, insofar as the specifications are correct and not incomplete.

The unit has a playback timer with which CD, radio or music from USB can be activated at a desired time. However, there are no advanced functions (multiple times, weekdays or similar). There is also a sleep timer.
