Hello all ! I have the device new. Sound is tiptop. However, I have a problem with the DAB. I could not connect the "normal" antenna cable to the rear antenna connection. It did not fit. I ordered an adapter with a female thread so that the antenna cable would fit. When selecting the DAB mode, it searches briefly and then reports "No Service". When I connect another DAB device, I have signal. Do I need a different/special adapter ? DAB is a MUST for me. What could be the problem ? Thanks for feedback.
Master_G answered the question correctly. For DAB+ reception, it is sufficient to use "the white cable from Sony".
Tip: Take the unit out of the cellar, e.g. to the first floor or outdoors. (possibly use a 20m cable reel for 220V for the power connection).
Then you will immediately have DAB+ reception.
Tune in the station and enjoy noise-free DAB+.
Then back to the basement.
If there are no more stations, it is proven that there is simply no DAB+ signal coming into your basement!
Hi Mail, you are talking about a DAB "antenna" and not a cablecom cable? My radio came with a white cable from Sony which was connected to the antenna connection using a "plastic plug", and DAB+ works fine with it.
