I'm currently using Applemusic, which works fine. I can also try Amazon Music and give you feedback.
Good evening Regarding question 1: Unpacking and getting started is absolutely the case with SONOS. It doesn't take 5 minutes to set up the speakers. Everything works via WLAN. Question 2: It depends, I don't know your old stereo system. But the Sonos make a decent sound (for my taste). SONOS has absolutely convinced me. It's really ingenious and certainly worth the slightly higher price.
The Sonos Play 1 cannot be connected to another player via WLAN as a speaker. It has its own system that plays music from different sources (see Sonos homepage).
Hello Deborah. You can use your MacBook or PC to control the Sonos system. There are apps available for both systems. Link: https://www.sonos.com/de-ch/controller-app Unfortunately, I don't know the Sonos One, so I can't answer myself. Ciao, matitaccia
SONOS doesn't want to reveal that. I have several Play:1s at home and can only say that it is sufficient. The small thing can easily fill a larger living room with sound and is enough to make the neighbour ring the doorbell...
The "Play:1" without microphones will continue to exist. The ones with the microphones and Alexa support are called "Sonos One". As far as I know, the "Sonos One" is an addition based on the "Play:1", but not a replacement.
Tuneln is indeed free, and you have many radio channels to choose from.
Good day. The PLAY:1 and PLAY:3 do not have an audio input. However, the PLAY:5 would have an audio input, which can then also be played on all other speakers in the SONOS network.
The products are both available, just not immediately. As far as I know there is no successor.
Yes, this is possible without any problems.
It's compatible with French power outlets.
According to the description from Digitec, it has a dent in the speaker grille. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how extreme this dent is. Maybe Digitec can post a picture of it? That would be desirable for second-hand devices anyway, so that you can see for yourself.
No, for this price you only get one Play 1. If you click on the two Play 1s below (at Quantity) you get the price for two.
if you are able to play your tv through your Play 1's you can also play through the Ray. hope this helps
Has the price possibly been adjusted again? SONOS Play:1 Bundle (Black)
No, you can't do that (directly). If you have a Sonos Playbar or Base, you can use 2 Play:1 as additional speakers. Only the Playbar or Base has a connection for Apple TV.
Thank you very much for pointing this out. I have gladly passed this on to the responsible office and this will be checked as soon as possible.
Yes, Sonos speakers connect to the Wi-Fi and stream independently from the PC. There are controller apps on Windows, iOS, Android, etc. Click on the "How SONOS works" link at https://www.sonos.com/de-ch/home.

There are two (limited) ways to use AirPlay with Sonos: http://www.sonos.com/de-de/airplay?r=1
