No, you don't have to. I have had to reboot the WLAN several times and the boxes automatically reconnected to the WLAN after restarting. So that shouldn't be a problem for you either.
it needs some form of network, i.e. WLAN or Ethernet. But it doesn't need the internet. A WLAN router will do - even if it doesn't have an internet connection. This has certainly been discussed many times in the official Sonos forum. It's best to have a look there.
It is a Sonos speaker that is part of a proprietary ecosystem (SONOS). It cannot be connected directly to an amp.
No need for an amp for this speaker. The music is played either through the app or through airplay and it is connected via wifi or ethernet cable.
Hi Jerome, I have 2 Sonos Play 1 and 2 Sonos One in use. They work perfectly in the same network. What is not possible is to form a stereo pair with a Play 1 and a One. But you can use the party mode with both speaker versions.
Have fun digimouse
The bundle price is currently higher because the bundle is excluded from the promotion. As soon as the promotion is over, the price of the bundle should be lower again than for two individual boxes.
No, that is not possible. Because they are completely different systems, it is not possible.
However, you can operate Bose and SONOS independently of each other. Of course, you also have two different apps for this.
Yes and no. Two identical speakers can be combined as a stereo pair, but not four. In this case, however, you could create two "rooms" and then group them. It does not matter where the speakers are located.
I have 2 x Play 1, Playbar and Subwoofer in use. Because of Airplay 2, I then bought another Sonos ONE. It's enough if one of your Sonos components is Airplay 2-compatible, this then transmits the signal to the other speakers. Of course, you can then only control the one Airplay-enabled device from your iOS device - but you can then control the other devices via the Sonos app.
