Hello, is the Sonos Play 1 (Gen. 1), compatible with the Gen 2. We currently have 9x Sonos Play 1 (gen. 1) and 1x Sonos Play 3. Now I would like to exchange one of the Play 1 (is defective) and wanted to ask what would make sense? Greetings Jerome

Hi Jerome, I have 2 Sonos Play 1 and 2 Sonos One in use. They work perfectly in the same network. What is not possible is to form a stereo pair with a Play 1 and a One. But you can use the party mode with both speaker versions.
