Questions about Philips TAR7705/10

How bright is the display ? Can the "large, clear display" be dimmed (number of levels?) or switched off completely? I don't want the alarm clock to light up my bedroom at night ... Thank you !

So in the meantime received another device, result exactly the same, in the morning not the last heard station with the alarm clock and for normal radio listening also not the last heard station remains, so can only read time and if tediously set station also listen to radio ... if you write to Philips directly, nobody knows about this long-standing problem and nobody wants to help, probably articles are too cheap

Transmitter programmed according to instructions, when restarting, the last selected station does not come up, even when waking up, the Tamil station always comes up which comes as no. 1 in the stream and then the day is ruined, but in the instructions this should always be the last selected station...otherwise I will unfortunately have to return the device, so I have no joy

i plugged in my device and instead of finding the time and date as in the instructions, the radio found the time and date itself. but now: i can press any button and nothing happens; what is going wrong here?

Hello ! I would like to know if the alarm setting (hours and minutes) is done with the big digits of the display or in the small line underneath (the one where it says DAB+ for example). I can't see very well without my glasses and I would like to be able to set an alarm with the large numbers on the main display which are visible enough for me without glasses. As other users have said, the instructions are quite bad and you can't see the exact procedure with pictures of the display while setting the alarms. Thanks for your answers :-)

Can I remove the clock radio from the battery charger every morning, take the radio into the bathroom and plug it back into the charging station after about 30 minutes without having to constantly change the batteries?

Does anyone know how to select the radio station for the alarm clock? We get a strange station every morning. This is not the station we heard last...
