Can I remove the clock radio from the battery charger every morning, take the radio into the bathroom and plug it back into the charging station after about 30 minutes without having to constantly change the batteries?

No, you can't. The batteries only serve as power supply for the clock and the alarm settings, so that you do not have to reprogram the device after a power failure.

I don't know that the clock radio has a battery... You can use it to charge your mobile phone wirelessly if it supports this technology. In any case, I have never left it running unplugged.
