The hue Bridge is a basic requirement for all hue products, also for control with Apple Home.
Some try to keep the clouds out of the home as much as possible (like me - the Philips Hue Bridge is only allowed to access the internet for updates), and then someone even wants to marry the Philips Hue system to Google. It seems to work, see here: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/QuestionAndAnswer/hey-funktioniert-der-google-home-in-der-schweiz-mit-philips-hue-spotify-ifttt-etc-bin-mir-am-ueberle-78684 Important: The bulb alone won't do it, you have to make the Hue Bridge, which controls the bulb, somehow familiar with Google Home.
Yes, you can. However, you can only switch it on and off. If you want to use the dimming function, you need a suitable switch, such as this one: Philips Hue Wireless Dimmer Switch You can also connect it directly to the lamp and then you don't need a bridge. LG Christoph
if you want to control it via the hue app and wifi - yes. But can also be operated with on/off switch...
Hello, This product is an extension bulb. You can use it just like a "normal" light bulb, but to be able to use your smartphone, you need the bridge (Philips Hue Bridge). This is where you can control the bulbs and also manage them with your smartphone. More details are available on the manufacturer's website (Philips Hue). Yours sincerely N. Oliveira

In fact, Hue White "only" glows warm white. We have adjusted this accordingly in the specifications. Please excuse the error.
